Church Insurances - Assisting the claim process
Catholic Church Insurances Limited will act on your claim as soon as we receive your claim form.
Depending on the type of claim there are a number things you can do to assist us in acting quickly for you:
- Report incidents of theft (or attempted theft), malicious damage and loss of personal valuables to the police.
- Attach the report or attendance card given to you by the police.
- Complete all relevant sections of the claim form.
- Supply supporting documentation verifying ownership of property, e.g. receipts, valuations, warranty certificates.
- Supply any repairers' or suppliers' quotations.
- Attach a letter from your power supplier and/or telecommunications company to confirm loss by power surge or lightning.
- Keep any damaged property for us to inspect.
- Take all reasonable steps to safeguard the damaged property so that no further damage occurs.
