Overseas Students Fees Insurance
THE POLICY
The policy provides protection to a school in the event that it closes and fees paid by, or on behalf of, full-fee paying students who are normally resident outside Australia are lost as a result thereof.
WHO NEEDS THIS COVER?
All Schools that are authorised by the Registered Schools Board to accept full-fee paying students from overseas should effect this insurance.
DEDUCTIBLE/EXCESS
No deductible/excess is applicable to this insurance.
LIMITS OF LIABILITY
The maximum amount payable under this policy for each student so affected is the proportion of fees outstanding at the time of school closure
SUM INSURED
The sum insured is the total of the annual education fees for all full-fee paying students from overseas.
GST and STAMP DUTY
GST (calculated from 1 July 2000) and Stamp Duty are added to the premium.
IMPORTANT POINTS
- The policy is usually effected for a school year.
- The policy cannot be cancelled without the written approval of the Registered Schools Board.
